AI SEO
We make sure your business shows up where people are searching now, in Google and across AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
We generate and maintain llms.txt and llms-full.txt files for your site so AI assistants can read your business clearly, accurately, and without guessing.
JSON-LD schema, semantic HTML, and clear question-and-answer patterns help your pages get cited when someone asks an AI assistant the questions your customers ask.
A growing share of buying research no longer starts on Google. Customers ask ChatGPT for a recommendation. They ask Claude to compare options. They use Perplexity for a deeper answer with sources. Google itself now answers many queries directly with AI overviews before any blue link is clicked.
Most websites were not built for this. They were built for traditional search a decade ago, and it shows. Pages do not declare what they are, content is not structured for extraction, and there is no signal to AI crawlers about which information is canonical. The result is simple: your business is either skipped entirely, or summarized poorly using whatever the model can scrape.
That is the problem we solve with AI SEO at Doghead Digital. The goal is not to chase a trend. The goal is to make sure that when an AI assistant is asked the questions your customers actually ask, your business is one of the answers it gives, and it gets the facts right.
By the time a client comes to us, the symptoms tend to look the same. Their site ranks reasonably on Google, but referral traffic from AI tools is flat or invisible. Their best pages are buried under marketing fluff that LLMs skim past. Their product, service area, hours, and credentials live in design copy, not in structured data.
The compounding problem is that AI assistants do not crawl every site the way Google does. They prefer well-structured, clearly labeled content. If your site does not provide that, models fall back on Reddit threads, directory listings, and competitor pages to answer questions about your business. You lose control of the narrative without realizing it.
Our AI SEO work has three parts, and we usually deliver all three together because they reinforce each other.
First, we generate llms.txt and llms-full.txt files for your site, powered by Firecrawl. These are the emerging standard for telling AI crawlers what your site is, which pages matter, and how the content is organized. We keep them current as your site evolves, so the description an AI assistant reads is the description you want it to read.
Second, we audit and restructure your content for extractability. That means clear question and answer patterns on service pages, semantic HTML that reflects real document structure, and JSON-LD schema for your business, services, FAQs, and reviews. None of this is visible to your visitors. All of it is visible to the models.
Third, we set up monitoring so you can see referral traffic from AI assistants in your analytics over time. AI search is still early, and the measurement is imperfect, but the trend is clear and worth tracking.
There are two ways clients work with us on this.
If we are building your new site, AI SEO is included by default. Every Doghead build ships with llms.txt, schema, and content structure designed for both traditional search and AI extraction. You do not pay extra for it. It is part of building a site correctly in 2026.
If you already have a site, we run a standalone AI SEO engagement. That is typically a two to three week project: we audit the current state, generate the llms.txt files, fix the schema and content structure on your highest-value pages, and set up monitoring. You keep ownership of all of it. We are not selling a recurring black box.
This service is a strong fit for service businesses, local businesses, and B2B companies that get meaningful inbound traffic and want to stay visible as that traffic shifts toward AI tools. If your customers are the kind of people who would ask ChatGPT for a recommendation before picking up the phone, this matters more than another round of Google keyword optimization.
It is less ideal if you are running a pure transactional e-commerce site where the buyer never asks an assistant for advice. The value is highest where the buying decision involves research, comparison, or trust.
When this work is done, your business behaves correctly inside AI tools. Ask Claude where to hire someone for what you do, and your name comes up with the right description. Ask Perplexity for a comparison, and your services are represented accurately with citations back to your site. Ask Google's AI overview a question your customers ask, and your pages show up as a source.
Just as important, your existing Google rankings get stronger, not weaker. Schema, semantic HTML, and clean content structure are good for traditional SEO too. You are not trading one channel for another. You are getting both in better shape than they were before.
